Remanufactured, Compatible VS. OEM

I can understand under most situations, the general customers, as end users, are not quite clear what they need or what they can buy for the toner and inkjet cartridges to save them money. We can see today there are so many suppliers for the compatible and remanufactured inkjet and toner cartridge products, these various suppliers may confuse the customers as the customers sometimes do not know from who the should buy or what type of products they can buy due to bad experience or lack of knowledge.

When we are talking about inkjet and toner cartridges, we are lucky today as we have several choices, the OEM, compatibles and remanufactured ones. Which one to choose? If you or your company have no concern on the budget, then of course OEM is the best one for you. If you want to save money, then it comes the compatible and remanufactured cartridges.

When should I choose compatibles and when should I choose the remanufactured cartridges? Till now, the technology for compatible inkjet and toner cartridges have been very well developed and these products are highly reliable than they were before. For compatible inkjet cartridges, Canon, Epson, Brother and some of the HPs are working pretty well. Such as Canon PGI-250XL CL-251XL series, Epson T0691 series, T125 T126 series, HP 564XL, 950XL etc. They are pretty reliable on quality so far. So, if you happen to own printers using such cartridges, then you can save a lot by using the compatibles.

For toner cartridges, your also can choose either compatible toner cartridges or remanufactured toner cartridges. Such small toner cartridges as HP CE285A, CF280A, Q2612A or CF283A, they have smaller yield and smaller physical size too, you can use the compatibles without any hesitation as the technology is pretty matured and the quality is as same the OEM. But when to choose the remanufactured toner cartridges? For some big color toner cartridges, such as HP C9730 series, the black, cyan, magenta and yellow cartridges, with very big physical size and much higher yield, the compatibles are not working fine in this case. Or, such big size monochrome toner cartridges as LEXMARK T640, T650, we always suggest customers to take remanufactured ones as the remanufactured can provide much more reliable printing quality due to local production and less trans-shipment.

Altogether, if you have a qualified and reliable supplier, who can always give you correct professional advices, then you can make the right decision for your purchasing. Then you can save huge costs and still get the same quality you are expecting.
